Awarding Agency: Administrative Office of the Courts, Mediation and Conflict Resolution Office (MACRO)

Award Period: 7/01/2025 - 6/30/2026

Program description: To support the Maryland Judiciary’s mission to provide fair, efficient, and effective justice for all, MACRO’s Conflict Resolution Grants provide funding for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) programs or projects which develop, improve, and expand high quality ADR services statewide. Specifically, grants in this category are available to circuit courts in Maryland to support ADR programs and services. Grants typically support: ADR-specific staff, such as a program coordinator or staff practitioner; training and quality assurance activities for roster mediators or ADR practitioners; providing mediation fee-waivers to court users; and other costs associated with providing mediation and ADR services.

Eligibility: This funding opportunity is open to circuit courts in Maryland.

Application Deadline: March 19, 2025

Terms and Conditions: All grant applications and awards made under this funding opportunity are subject to the Maryland Judiciary's General Grant Conditions, and the FY26 Special Conditions for MACRO Conflict Resolution Grants.


Technical Session: Applicants are encouraged to register and attend the technical session scheduled on February 5, 1:00 to 2:30 PM.
