Program description: To support the Maryland Judiciary’s mission to provide fair, efficient, and effective justice for all, MACRO’s Conflict Resolution Projects Grants provide funding for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) programs or projects which develop, improve, and expand high quality ADR services statewide. These grants are being offered to benefit the courts and the people of Maryland with the goal of increasing efficiency in the courts, expanding access to justice, and preventing conflicts from escalating into violence or litigation.
Typical project categories:
Starting or Expanding an ADR Program, Mediator/ADR Practitioner Quality Assurance; Public Conflict Resolution Education; Statewide Conflict Resolution Services or program support; ADR‐Related Research.
Eligibility: This funding opportunity is open to non-profit, local government, and institutions of higher education working in Maryland.
